Dog

Well, it's been a while since I've posted anything here. :p

I have an excuse though! Well, kinda. I've been working on this:

I actually have been working on this model for... umm... a little over a year, I think. Well, depending on your definition of "working". :p I worked on it for a good 2 months when I first started, but then real life reared its ugly head once again. (Well, that and TF2.) So I kinda stopped working on it for like... 6 months. But then I realized how long it had been sitting on my desk unfinished, and I decided that I had procrastinated long enough. So I've spent the past 4 or 5 months trying to finish it up. I actually finished testbuilding about 3 months ago, and I told people it would be publicly released within a few weeks. (Obviously, it wasn't.) Yeah, umm... sorry about that. >.< I had a lot more to fix than I had originally anticipated. But whatever, I'm done now.

But enough about me, let's talk about the model!

This is Dog, from Half-Life 2, but I assume you already knew that. If you didn't know that... then leave the cave you have been living in and go play Half-Life 2. :O
  • 18 pages
  • 381 pieces
  • 11.9" x 9.6" x 9.6" (30.1 cm x 24.3 cm x 24.3 cm)
Also, if you couldn't already tell, it's a pretty tough model. Definitely not a good craft for beginners. ;)

Now here's the part you've all been waiting for:

Thanks for your patience, everybody. ^_^

ReDead

This one goes well with the Like Like. It's a ReDead!

Plus, it is to scale with ninjatoes' Young Link model.

Man, these guys creeped me out.

Seriously.

Anyway...

Here is the download.

Like Like

Okay, I should have posted this a while ago, but I've been busy. :p

It's a Like Like! You know, from Zelda. Yeah.

So... I think this would be my... 12th model? I don't know, I've lost track.

Here's the download.

Samus Aran

Well, I guess it's been a while since I've posted here... but I have returned with an amazing craft! hellbringer17 (on the NP forums) found a Samus model, so I went ahead and turned it into a papercraft. I spent about 3 months working on it. :p But now I'm done, and it was worth it! http://www.nintendopapercraft.com/2009/03/samus-aran.html

Nintendo Power Article on Papercraft

Yeah, papercrafting got mentioned in Nintendo Power.  They interviewed Ryo007, a fairly well known papercrafter.  Also, you may notice that one of the links that they reccomend at the end is www.nintendopapercraft.com.  :D

Here are the scans of the article:

So there you have it.  The end.

Trophy Stand

Ahh, crud.  I totally forgot about this model.  Now my count is all messed up.  Oh well...
I really don't remember which number model this was... somewhere between 5th and 10th.

This is a trophy stand from Super Smash Bros.  That's it.

Anyway, Brandon from the Nintendo Papercraft forums gave me the textures, so he gets the credit for that. :p  It is designed to go with Red Yoshi's Brawl models.

Unfortunately, I never built it, (that's why I forgot about it,) so I don't have a picture. :(

Pitfall

This is my eighth model, a Pitfall.  It originally came from Animal Crossing, but it also appeared as an item in Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Gyroid

Here's my sixth (I think) model, a Gyroid from Animal Crossing.
Someone on the Nintendo Papercraft forums requested it, so I went ahead and made it!

Smash Bros. Capsule

Here's the Capsule item from the Super Smash Bros. games.
This was my 6th or 7th model... and it's pretty close to life-size.

Paper Mario

Okay, this one was made for more of a joke. :p
Paper Mario!

Well... at least it's easy, right?

I guess you can't really say that I "designed" this myself, but I did edit the picture myself.  XD
