Nintendo Power Article on Papercraft

Yeah, papercrafting got mentioned in Nintendo Power.  They interviewed Ryo007, a fairly well known papercrafter.  Also, you may notice that one of the links that they reccomend at the end is www.nintendopapercraft.com.  :D

Here are the scans of the article:

So there you have it.  The end.

Trophy Stand

Ahh, crud.  I totally forgot about this model.  Now my count is all messed up.  Oh well...
I really don't remember which number model this was... somewhere between 5th and 10th.

This is a trophy stand from Super Smash Bros.  That's it.

Anyway, Brandon from the Nintendo Papercraft forums gave me the textures, so he gets the credit for that. :p  It is designed to go with Red Yoshi's Brawl models.

Unfortunately, I never built it, (that's why I forgot about it,) so I don't have a picture. :(

Pitfall

This is my eighth model, a Pitfall.  It originally came from Animal Crossing, but it also appeared as an item in Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Gyroid

Here's my sixth (I think) model, a Gyroid from Animal Crossing.
Someone on the Nintendo Papercraft forums requested it, so I went ahead and made it!

Smash Bros. Capsule

Here's the Capsule item from the Super Smash Bros. games.
This was my 6th or 7th model... and it's pretty close to life-size.

Paper Mario

Okay, this one was made for more of a joke. :p
Paper Mario!

Well... at least it's easy, right?

I guess you can't really say that I "designed" this myself, but I did edit the picture myself.  XD

Impossible Triangle Illusion

Okay, here is the official post for the Impossible Triangle.  I posted the link a few posts ago, but I realized that I should probably have a more "official" post for it, with pictures and whatnot.  So here you go.  I'll just go ahead and copy that other post's pictures...

I'm sure most of you guys have seen the impossible triangle illusion, but have any of you seen it made into a papercraft?  Yeah, this is the first papercraft that I made by myself, and I think it turned out pretty well!  Of course, there are some small problems since it was my first model, but it's not that bad.

You can download it
here.

I may post an updated version some day... but I can't promise anything.

For realz!

Okay, I'm seriously going to start updating this blog.  I have a bit of free time, so I figured I had better do what I said Iwould do months ago.

Anyway, before I get into the official posts, I did want to make note of one thing:  I am now part of the staff at Nintendo Papercraft!  Yay!  Officially, my job is to be a Blogposter, a.k.a. someone who posts a craft when Drummyralf (the main owner) is away.  But, since that doesn't happen too often, I also am a Moderator on the forum!  So... yeah.  Basically, I'm supposed to help people out, make people follow the rules, etc.  It's pretty cool.

So... I guess that's it.  The main reason I wanted to get this blog started is because I've got a few projects that I'm working on, (really big projects,) but I wanted to have my old models posted here before I posted my new ones.

Oh yeah, one last thing:  I'll also be posting my tutorials here.  Most of them are about how to design your own models.  So keep an eye out.
